Checking Benefits
Overdraft protection from savings accounts or, if you qualify, a line of credit. This service can be set up to automatically transfer funds from an existing savings or line of credit for overdraft protection. (We also offer overdraft protection if you do not have funds for a $27 fee.)
Convenience in the form of 24/7 account access through our Online Access and Mobile Banking app as well as direct deposit and an automatic transfer of funds at your request.
ATM Debit Cards
Daviess County Teachers Federal Credit Union’s Debit Mastercard® is a debit card and ATM card all in one with the security of Mastercard®. Enjoy unlimited purchases with no transaction fees. Your debit card can be used as a debit transaction also allowing for cash back with your purchases with a secure Personal Identification Number (PIN) or as a credit with signed purchases adding the security and backing of Mastercard®.
Use our debit cards as an ATM card as well, accessing your savings and checking accounts through ATM machines 24/7. Through our COOP and Alliance One ATM networks, you can find access to no charge ATMs nationwide as well as the use of all Fifth-Third Bank ATMs. Check our mobile app to find a fee free ATM near you.
Checks
We offer low-priced checks for all our checking accounts with the convenience of quickly reordering checks online 24/7. All you need is your DCTFCU account and Routing and Transit Number.
Youth Checking Accounts
We know the importance of financial literacy at a young age. We offer a variety of educational tools to help equip our next generation as early as possible. With the signed approval of joint ownership of a parent or guardian, we can offer youth a checking account. These checking accounts can include Mastercard® debit cards or our Pre-Paid VISA® Travel cards at the request and comfort level of the parent or guardian.
