In 1971, Daviess County Teachers Federal Credit Union started in a shoe box thanks to the dedication of our ten charter members. Without their commitment to the philosophy of “people helping people” DCTFCU would never have become the progressive credit union it is today. The charter members of DCTFCU are as follows: Donald E. Nall, Sylvia Ross Freeman, Lillian S. Johnson, John W. Basham, Robert L. Graham, James L. Brown, Wesley Acton, James C. Chenault, Richard D. Rue, and Richard E. Skaggs.

The current DCTFCU Board of Directors is comprised of seven volunteer DCTFCU members who are dedicated to the credit union movement and to providing a sound financial institution to the educators of Owensboro and Daviess County. Each Board member serves a three year term and is elected to service at the Annual Meeting.

	Thomas Vittitow, Chairman- Tom Vittitow has served on the DCTFCU Board of Directors since 2004 and has served as the Chairman of the Board since 2006. He was formerly a member of the DCTFCU Supervisory Committee. Vittitow is retired from KET and is currently working as the Executive Director of the Elizabeth Munday Center/Daviess County Senior Services. He and his wife, Gayla, have two children, Tee Vittitow and Nichol Vittitow.
	Joe Mason, Vice-Chairman- Joe Mason has served on the DCTFCU Board of Directors since 2004 and has served as Vice-Chairman of the Board since 2006. He was formerly a member of the DCTFCU Supervisory Committee. Mason retired from Daviess County Public Schools (DCPS) as Principal of College View Middle School. He and his wife, Jo Anne, have three children, Jenny Mason, Jill Hayden, and Matt Mason.
	Roger D. Jones, Secretary/Treasurer- Roger Jones has served on the DCTFCU Board of Directors since 2000. He was formerly a member of the DCTFCU Supervisory Committee. Jones is a retired teacher of DCPS (Apollo High School) and is currently working at Apollo High School with special needs students. He and his wife, Missy, have two children, Meredith Jones and Mitchell Jones.
	Joe Blandford- Joe Blandford has served on the DCTFCU Board of Directors since 2006. He was formerly a member of the DCTFCU Supervisory Committee. Blandford is a retired teacher of DCPS (Burns Middle School) and is currently working as a substitute teacher in the district. He and his wife, Jean, have three children, Janna Bryant, Joey Blandford and Jaron Blandford.
	Tony Bryant- Tony Bryant has served on the DCTFCU Board of Directors since 2006. He was formerly a member of the DCTFCU Supervisory Committee. Bryant is the Principal at Beacon Central High School. He and his wife, Kim, have one child, Jake Bryant.
	Richard Rue- Richard Rue is a charter member of DCTFCU and has served on the DCTFCU Board of Directors since 2004. Rue is a retired teacher of DCPS (Daviess County High School). He and his wife, Linda, have two children, Marsha Hefner and Ryan Rue.
	Richard Skaggs- Richard Skaggs is a charter member of DCTFCU and has served on the DCTFCU Board of Directors since 1971. He was Chairman of the Board for 35 years. Skaggs retired from DCPS as Daviess County Middle School’s band director. He and his wife, Jean, have three children, Richard Skaggs, Jr., Julie Skaggs, and Susan Holt.
